Necklace with coral, turquoise and enamelled vintage bronze element
How are jewelry born?
Sometimes we think for a long time, draw sketches. Sometimes we just sit down and create, subject to inspiration.
But it also happens that something fleeting makes us obsessed in an attempt to recreate what we saw.
That was when I saw the picture in the South African travel guide. There was a woman with a chic jewelry around her neck. It was powerful, heavy and all I remember is a circle, coral and turquoise. I remembered this for sure.
And the first thing I thought was that I have a vintage bronze pendant covered with fired enamel. It was more than 30 years and during this time it has not changed in any way.
When I came home, I found this pendant. I always have coral and turquoise in stock :) And I started to create!
In the process, the main idea becomes overgrown with details.
When everything is ready, it remains to process the seamy side, the edge and pick up the lock:
But my image was not formed as in the original. I wanted a chic chic, maybe a bright Provence. In any case, you can see it in the photo:
Goodbye!
Hello everybody!
I am very pleased that you have looked at my blog! I am Lyoka. For a long time I did not dare to start it and doubted. But now I decided to take this step and will try to blog regularly :)
Someone will ask why such a name? Everything is simple and difficult at the same time. I love corals, and I make jewelry from natural stones and more.
And I also love to knit and crochet. This is how the name appeared :)
